I was fortunate to be present, along with Bud, W8PLC, when this presentation was made at Aileen and Melvin’s home after the U. P. Hamfest. I am glad I was there with my camera to capture this special moment.
This presentation was supposed to take place at the U. P. Net meeting at the hamfest, but
lets just say the best laid plans sometimes go astray. Bill was given some bad information concerning the time of the hamfest. (who ever heard of a hamfest starting at 4 in the afternoon)
Aileen was very surprised and pleased to receive this plague, and I am sure she wishes all the net participants could have been there. Bud and I were very happy to be there and share this special moment. |
